We created this bowl of porridge with fruit growing in our garden. We are lucky to have a fig and plum tree which has an abundant amount of fruit every summer. We often end up with more figs than we know what to do with so make fig compote to serve as a topping for our porridge.
We topped a creamy coconut porridge with segments of fig and plum topped with some crushed pistachios and drizzle of honey.
